Aberlour A’Bunadh – Alba Cask Strength Batch #7 Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet orchard fruit aromas of fresh green apple and juicy sweet pears complemented with delicate lavender honey, smooth vanilla cream and zesty sherbet lemon.

Palate: An initial burst of citrus lemon zest and tangy grapefruit revealing rich all-butter shortbread and soft baked apples, followed by a hint of sweet sugared almonds.

Finish: Smooth and sweet with a hint of toasted almonds.

“All our single malts are made with the best local ingredients of barley and soft water from the nearby mountain, Ben Rinnes. Our expertly crafted new spirit is usually matured for a minimum of 12 years both in the finest hand-picked Oloroso Sherry butts and American Oak barrels. Its this double cask maturation which subtly brings together the characteristics of each cask to create a truly rich and rewardingly complex range of single malts.”
